Default Bilstien PSS9 not Installed Correctly

I had PSS9 Bilsteins installed by a local shop. Something is wrong because the knob on the top rotates smoothly and does not click. Also it can not go lower than 6. I am planning to return the car for proper instalment, anybody knows what to do ? Thanks.

If my mind serves me correctly, on the side of the knob there's a tiny allen screw that you need to loosen in order to push the knob all the way down until it firmly contacts its "base." After that, the screw gets tightened and that's what gives you the clicks.

Thanks. I see a screw hole in the knob but there is no screw attached...the mechanic says he does not know what's wrong. I paid more than 500 bucks for the install.

If it's an allen screw you can probably find a replacement at local hardware store.

It was a nice install written up that I found searching, saying that clicking is a sign of a good job and with out it you may not adjust the coilovers.

I was also surprised buy the instalment fee. The shop does mostly BMWs- they do a good job on my 5 series, but the hourly charge is kinda steep..
