Brake pad choice Pagid RS29 vs Ferodo DS Uno vs PFC
#11
I think your dealer gave you a good recommendation on the RS29 front and DS2500 rear. The RS29 has a slightly higher coefficient versus the DS2500, which usually works well on the S2000. The RS29 is around mu 0.50, and the DS2500's are around mu 0.45. I used RS29 fronts and Carbotech XP10's with good results. I did find the rears to be a bit too grabby when cold, but the combination was great on track once up to temperature.

In the higher temp scenarios, the DS2500's seem to taper off significantly meaning that at temps from 550-650 Deg C they will have a mu of 0.375 compared to a 0.49 @ 550deg C of the RS29. Your choice of XP8's or 10's together with the RS29 might make more sense as the mu difference will probably be much smaller. I would go with your recommendation more likely.
Better yet, somebody will figure out a full set of DS 1.11 for me. The torque profile looks sweet and easy to modulate for an amateur like me
