D2 top hats used for Bilstein PSS9
Hey guys,
as you may know, Bilstein PSS9 like many other coilovers require you to use another set of top hats.
At the moment my car is running on D2 coilovers (came with the car :S) and I have a set of Bilstein PSS9 ready to go on to car.
However, I was wondering if it's possible to use the D2 top hats on the Bilstein PSS9's instead of finding stock ones.
It would look something like this: (picture taken from another s2ki member - MattZ28)
Thanks

The picture is of a stock top hat so that is not helpful.
What you have to figure out is the shock shaft diameter and the inner diameter of the bearing. If the shock shaft is smaller than the bearing you can get a custom piece to center the shaft in the bearing. If they are the same, then it will fit nice and tight.
