the kw v2 seems to suit you just fine and will fit your budget . THe bilsteins I would go with the pss over the pss9 and save that extra 400$, the pss9s are still a great choice though. If you decide you want more of a performance upgrade bilstein USA charges only 65$/shock for a revalve, if you want stiffer springs swift has the correct sizes. In case you do not know Swift makes excellent springs for the s2k (sport mach and specRs), they were made to work the stock shocks and offer a mild drop ( about 1.25inches). I use the bilstein pss setup, you can find them extremely cheap nowadays (850-900$ shipped) and are easily upgradeable by many shops. THe kw's on the other hand will only need to be serviced by KW themselves. Trust me, the stock suspension is very good in the s2, you do NOT want to throw on some coilovers that are "32 way" adjustable that are made in thailand, you want a quality shock from a quality brand that knows what they are doing.
I started with the Stock shocks mated with Swift Spec R, good ride, firm and progressive. I can't say anything negative about that besides my shocks rebound were not able to settle the car quick enough. When my PSS9 were installed this morning, we measured my ride height with the Swift's. They were DEAD on even around all four corners! Really quality springs!
Jmai just wondering, but do you think you can take a measurement from your fender lip to the wheel centercap in inches?? Ive got my bilsteins on the lowest setting and im at about 12.75 inches. Thanks .

I am basically at the lowest setting, minus one or two threads. I measured to the middle of the center cap (I don't have center caps but I measured to where it would've been lol) I am 12 inches, and all the way to the ground is 2 feet almost exact. I measured from the "edge" of the fender. Not sure why I am lower then you are, maybe we are measuring from different locations. I have attached pics to help visualize!

I'd personally stay away from "used" coil overs. Definitely one of the items I would buy new unless you either know the owner personally or bought them and had them rebuilt.

If you want your car to handle as well or better than stock then the Tein flex's is not the way to go. Look into Monoflex's at the least...If you don't care and just want to lower the car then just get the cheapest you can find(Function Type 2, Megan Streets, D2).

I've been through them all...Started off with Eibach springs on stock shocks, then got Koni yellows, then got full coilovers(current setup).

Thanks for the pics jmai. I just measured again and I'm at 12.75inches in the front and about 12.9 in the back. Are you hitting the bumpstops at all?

Not hitting the bump stops, shocks set to stiffest settings.I am really curious now, can you post pictures of your wheel also? Are you as low as I am when maxing out the sleeve?
