For $2500 and a track only car, I'd suggest our AST 4150s - they are slightly over the top of your budget, but well worth the money.

KWV3'S are a great start and under your budget.

KWs are a good choice, but for a full track car, they are a little too soft IMO. Plus, if you're racing in certain classes eventually, the external reservoirs can really mess you up.

We have a lot our customer running Ohlins DFVs..

Google Ohlins DFV reveiw and you wont find a bad review..

Here are a couple of our customer reviews.
gernby S2KI Review
grubinski S2KI review

Check out our article on the DFV valving advantage..

These come as a complete kit, tuned by Ohlins... Arguably the best suspension company in the world with more World/National Championships (including 2 wheels) than any other company.

They have been consulting on Lotus F1 the last 2 years and they are 2nd in the championship so far, not bad for a 2nd tier budget.
