Depends on what tires, tire size, suspension, etc. Even then, I'm sure I prefer a different feel than you do. It's all subjective.

I run a 32mm cusco front non-adjustable with no rear bar on kw v3s running 255 all around and it's perfect for how I drive.

Just start with a base line, push the car, figure out what you want the car to do differently, then come back and ask for advice.

Best of luck!

okay thanks i will see when i will have the car ...for sure it was personnel for set up ... when i have my civic he have front and rear sway bar ,miracle xbar and fender brace. i love car look like go gart and for sure front traction and rear (propulsion) it's two world ...the reason for my question it's because every one said ap1 was more stiff than ap2 and i only whant to know if ap1 or CR sway bar make realy a better difference on handling for a oem BAR on ap2 ...after this suspension and tire will do an other upgrade for sure

That's why you can't run a rear bar, because you already have massively higher spring rate in the rear. You need a big front bar and no rear bar just to even out the total spring rates when you corner. Essentially you created a handling problem (too much oversteer) when you put those soft springs up front and stiff ones in back, and then you're using a band-aid to try to fix it by reducing cornering spring rate in the rear instead of increasing overall rate in the front. Go 800/800 and put back on a rear bar, and the car will still be balanced and will be faster.

The S2000 is pretty balanced weight-wise, so coilover spring rates should be pretty similar front and rear, and as high as you can stand. Then use combinations of sways to fine-tune the cornering balance you want from there.

The short version is that if you want more understeer, add rate up front. Don't take it away in the rear.

People who go non-staggered and then remove the rear bar are taking one step forward and one step back in terms of grip. They just spent a bunch of money for no reason.

Sway bars remove grip from their respected end. Thats why a big front bar makes the car understeer, you are removing grip.
The goal should be to maximize total grip, not remove grip from one end of the car in order to give it a certain handling characteristic.

With my this setup and alignment the car was fine with Dunlops while autocrossing.

However, I swapped the springs 800/600 and put the bar back on, added a lot more front camber and the car was out of controll. So, dissconnected the rear bar again, and made some other small changes and things were fine again.

Now I'm putting 900s on the front in hopes to bring things back to normal ish.

2001 S2000.

I'm replacing my shocks with a set of 7,000 mile 2006 shocks this Saturday and replacing a torn control arm bushing. I like factory parts because they are reliable and in the S2000's case, a good compromise on performance and comfort. It is my DD. For that reason, I have also ordered a OEM CR front sway bar. At first, I had planned on buying the set (front and rear). After reading through the this thread, I have decided buying both could be as much a gamble on improvement as any other combination. I can always add the rear later...

Could anyone give me an educated prediction on how this combination will affect the car? (AP1 with OEM 06 shocks and a front swaybar pulled from the CR).

Also, how will this effect the ride quality?

I will know all this soon enough but I love opinions

Thanks

No CR spring. AP2 springs/shocks, then just the CR front Sway.

Swaybar canceled

Looks like the AP1 is about as stiff as OEM gets.

Spring Rates:
00-01 Front: 218 lb/in - Rear: 291 lb/in
02-03 Front: 240 lb/in - Rear: 230 lb/in*
04-07 Front: 256 lb/in - Rear: 207 lb/in*
08 Front: 274 lb/in - Rear 225 lb/in*
08 CR Front 375 lb in - Rear 264 lb/in*
*values based on % change data, as lb/in specifications not provided by Honda

Sway Bars Overall diameter X wall thickness
00-01 Front 28.2mm X T5.0 - Rear 27.2mm X T5.3
02-03 Front 26.5mm X T4.5 - Rear 27.2mm X T4.5
04-07 Front 26.5mm X T4.5 - Rear 25.4mm X T4.5
08-? Front 27.2 X T5.3 - Rear 25.4 X T4.5
08 CR Front 28.6 X T4.5 - Rear 26.5 X T4.5

Big spring rate difference... I imagine it will be noticeable.

Thanks anyway
