That is the saner bar. Well, now it is a version of the saner bar, because the company that produced the original saner bar went out of business, and now a different company is producing them. There are a lot of people running them, the only negative thing I have heard is on the full stiff setting the end link will contact certain coilovers.

Would a decent assumption be that for the price, name, impact, etc. that the Eibach units are the best bang for the buck?

~185 through shops and dealers is not too shabby and it's an adjustable unit.

Not too up to snuff on the hollow vs. solid debate but call me an idiot if need be and tell me to go with a solid bar if I need it.

It's my toy car that I'd like to have less understeer in, I'm used to FWD lol

I installed a Whiteline front sway bar months ago. My setup at the time was a 2001 with 17*9 255 tires on all 4 corners and stock suspension. During cornering, the rear of the car always felt like it was pushing to the outside of the corner and was wanting to break loose. Not confidence inspiring at all. Then I added the Whiteline bar and it made a large difference. Everything felt tighter, more connected, and the back did not feel like it was breaking loose as much. I was able to go through turns faster then before.

Now I have the same setup but with Bilstein pss9 coilovers and the car feels absolutley amazing. It has made the car feel totally different in a good way. Through turns the car feels planted and glued to the road and everything feels wonderfully tight and connected. I can recommend these coilovers 110%.

Thank you for the input

PSS9's are the planned combo purchase with the front bar this week. Loved them on my R32 and love their shocks on my truck lol

I'm trying to figure this out too. I'm thinking of just getting a Cusco FSB and keep the stock rear or get the Eibach F/R. I have a MY07 (bone stock) and I wish I could just get a Saner bar. I'm so used to understeer, I'm just not confident in a tight corner. I'm hoping adding a bigger FSB will help out as I don't plan on changing the springs anytime soon. I'm so scared of snap oversteer..

Oh anyone try out the Godspeed bar? 30.29mm and supposedly solid. Plus it's pretty reasonable at $120. I just can't get myself to purchase the Gendron.

I ended up getting the Eibach FSB, and have it set to hard. I planned to drive it with JUST that modification and see how it reacted while I waited on coilovers. But those were supposed to be 1 more day out so I left it in the air and apart. Long story short, 1.5 weeks later my coilovers came in (PSS9) and are now on the car.

Letting it settle tonight, tuning ride height and driving tomorrow when I have more time. I'll report back what I feel, not that it's a huge help at this point. But I too am used to front heavy FWD/AWD cars so I don't push it with this car. Not that I have to, as I corner just as fast without really railing on it. Which is nice lol

Update:

PSS9 and Eibach FSB have made a crazy difference in the car. I'm kicking myself for not doing it in the Spring when I originally planned to. It's taken that 'wallowy' feel out and replaced it with pure feel. I now know where the tires are on the road, and the balance has definitely been shifted forward as far as the handling characteristics go.

Once it's at the height I want this week it will hit the rack and then I'm good to go for the last month of the driving season.

Currently 600/800.
That's why you can't run a rear bar, because you already have massively higher spring rate in the rear. You need a big front bar and no rear bar just to even out the total spring rates when you corner. Essentially you created a handling problem (too much oversteer) when you put those soft springs up front and stiff ones in back, and then you're using a band-aid to try to fix it by reducing cornering spring rate in the rear instead of increasing overall rate in the front. Go 800/800 and put back on a rear bar, and the car will still be balanced and will be faster.

The S2000 is pretty balanced weight-wise, so coilover spring rates should be pretty similar front and rear, and as high as you can stand. Then use combinations of sways to fine-tune the cornering balance you want from there.

The short version is that if you want more understeer, add rate up front. Don't take it away in the rear.

People who go non-staggered and then remove the rear bar are taking one step forward and one step back in terms of grip. They just spent a bunch of money for no reason.
Spot on.

FYI, I ended up getting the Whiteline front sway and lowered my MY07 w/ stock shocks and Swift Spec-R springs. At first it felt great and it was a big improvement. After an alignment, it was a dream! No feeling of a potential snap-oversteer anymore and a lot less body roll. Best thing is I still have the stock comfort.
