i would take the rear swa off and go back to OEM. Most people on the board say that stiffer rear sways cause snap oversteer..... ? any truth to this?

i dont know about "snap" over-steer, but a stiffer rear bar would cause more oversteer.

AP1 s2k
I have a SANER front sway 3 way adj. 1.25".
So far its relly nice, tracked the car sevaral times w/out any problems.
The only problem is that the endlinks rub on the coilovers, i shaved the bolts down and its much better.
Rear, I have the tenabe 32mm? But i noticed its better to run NO rear sway in the track or even stock ap2 is ok(oversteer decreased).

anyone with an early ap1 running just the swift? or someone with an ap2 running the swift, with an early ap1 sway bar? im interested in how this combo may work out, as it wont have such a stiff rear bar causing too much oversteer (relative to the front bar), but it is a notch up from a stock ap2.

Edit: just looked on the swift website and noticed that it actually states a -13% stiffness compared to early model AP1. Seems as though the comptech is significantly stiffer up front. ~100% stiffer

according to this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry12575431
the early AP1 sway bar would be ~40% stiffer in the rear.

any thoughts on this combo? i dont want to add to much understeer. im trying to figure out what combination would keep the AP2 balance

I just installed a Cusco 32mm a few weeks ago, and I'm very happy with it so far. Very solid feel, its a big improvement.

I'll give an update in a few weeks when I get a chance to autox on it

Anyone else use the front Saner sway bar with a stock rear sway bar? Looking to get that one for my '01.
