Year: 2003
Miles: 70,500
Suspension Mods: Tien S techs installed ~15,000 miles ago?

Cliff notes:
Car on or off the car squeaks quietly when I move the wheel only about 2 inches in either direction all the way to lock.
Same squeak I heard AFTER braking and coming to a complete stop. Almost sounds like weight transfers off the front and it squeaks.

I'm having a squeak coming from the front end in two instances. I first noticed it when pulling into my driveway in my steering. Whether the car is on or off it will squeak when I move the wheel slightly to the left or right. This squeak isn't grinding, squealing, or anything like that (like a wheel bearing). As I said, the car can be off and it can be heard by moving the wheel an inch or two in either direction.

The same sounding squeak can be heard AFTER braking. Never during braking, but after the car comes to a stop. It almost sounds like the weight transfers to the front while braking, then when the weight lifts up if squeaks.

I'll be having a look under the car this week to have a look and was hoping to get some insight on where to start looking. I found an old thread about a loose nut on the ball joint so I guess I'll start there...

Check the rubber on your front strut mounts...does it look seated properly?
