Default VSA Light on

My 2006 S2k has its VSA warning light on. This appeared after a short lay up and after I charged the battery which tough not flat needed a lift to start the car . The car is standard, no mods. The VSA switch has no effect. The dealer says it the pressure module(?) that can only be replaced by replacing the brake control module for a whopping £1800. Can this problem be rectified more simply ( and cheaper) than this? The car runs normally no other problems.

What code was stored? If it's the pressure sensor (usually code 66-xx) it's internal to the modulator and isn't serviceable. If it's code 68 (brake switch input) or 65 (brake fluid level) there's hope that the modulator isn't the issue. There is a code 61 for low battery voltage, but that should clear easily once the voltage is back up.

I have the same problem with s2000 vsa '07.
The vsa light on is always ON.
I take the car in dealer honda and we see a error (usually code 66-xx).
They tell me to change all ABS system???but the cost is very expensive.
Please if you can tell me some more information and help me send me message .
