Uhh...get whatever you want. It makes a difference in some grip, but it doesn't matter if you're following the rules.

Anyways, I have all seasons on my OE wheels and they're fine for everyday driving. They totally suck for gripping and braking though, but it's fun flying past people at 90mph+ in heavy rain with lots of confidence. I only wished I used those for the race track on that heavy rain day...maybe I could have laid down some beast lap times.

I'm actually thinkin of having two sets of wheels. 1 for all season with my cr wheels and maybe an rfp1 performance tires for summer but it won't be for a while though..

I don't remember where that post was, but it was around 17-18k street miles and 8ish track days.

Thanks. Did you ever swap them front to rear?

Just ordered Federal 595 RSR from them. Shipped/delivered in 3 days. Everything went smoothly.
I'm replacing the Star Specs with these tires for a bit more cost effectiveness, saved about $220 compared to the Stars.

Good to hear the purchase went well, I've been meaning to order from them due to their prices!

Some help guys. So I got OEMs (Potenza RE070) on right now. The fronts have more than 80% left, but the rears need replace soon.
Would I be fine going with the Direzza ZII or the Hankook Ventus R-S3 for the rear.
I just plan to use these for street driving.

yes you will be fine. The compounds are similar. Just dont mix a all season and a high performance summer tire.
