Default 04 Ap2 Alarm going crazy

Hi. Ok a month ago my alarm started going crazy little by little. It kind of reminds me when it was time for my 6000 mi checkup and the maint. req. came on. When that happened the horn would honk on its own just when I was driving. Now everytime i unlock the vehicle with the alarm remote the blinkers flash nonstop as if im stealing my own car, which is most annoying because the relay under my steering column clicks incessantly with em.
When I pull the key out of the ignition the car usually honks at me.
I have tried different combos with the valet switch but it doesnt solve anything.
Sometimes when I try to lock it the vehicle it even sets the alarm off. I refuse to let a dealer touch my car again because they left dings in the body and a hole in my seat last time. What can I do!?!

How can I reset my alarm or get it to stop doing these weird things?

thx guys, new to the s2ki forums here.

Can't speak for the Honda alarm but my Viper behaved that way with a discharged battery. You S2K is a 2004, ever replace your battery? If not you may be due.

I upgraded to a stinger pro last year, but the alarm was fine after that. Any other suggestions? Am I going to have to take my car into a dealershoip to have the alarm reset?

it doesn't seem like battery... it honestly seems like you may have an alarm in the car other than OEM... maybe an automate upgrde alarm that came with the car .... (it uses your factory remotes as the keypads) i could be wrong though... if im not wrong and u do have that... the door locks will probably have to be relearned to the car... usually factory alarms dont go bad...

i have an MY04 and i have alarm problems as well. it seems to be too sensitive. i have an Auto Mate AM1 alarm and was wondering if anyone knew how i could fix this problem? the wind would set off my alarm, if i kick my tire (very very lightly) my alarm would go off and etc.

locate the alarm module... you will see a little dial on the alarm module... turn it counter clockwise to lower sensitivity... clockwise to increase it...
