Default 05 OEM question

I've been searching through the forum and google quite a bit now for definitive information on my 05 OEM head unit. I've been looking into aux adapters so I can use my MP3 player. Basically choosing an adapter requires knowledge of whether or not the unit is satellite ready or not. This seems to change the number of pins in back. My unit does not say XM ready on it. I think the unit number is 4XJ2. What is the easiest way for me to find out which aux adapter I need. Or can someone tell me what I need for sure? Thanks!

edit: I did some more searching and results seemed to indicate the car is wired for XM, and the head unit can use an external XM receiver. That would seem to indicate I want the 14-pin adapter intended for newer models that are satellite compatible. Can anyone verify this?

If it is the factory radio it is XM ready.

If you want to be totally certain, pulling the head unit is very easy.
