06/07 Roll Hoop speaker replacements
#21
Ok, the outer speaker grill is 4" in height. The sides are curved obviously and range from 2-7/8 near the top, to 2-31/32nds around the middle and 3-1/32nd around the bottom. At the top, it gets a little smaller than the 2-7/8th and at the bottom it gets smaller too, 3" I measured in one area but it tapered a little more.
This number was on it, may relate to a honda part number: 84567-S2A-A5-50 but possibly not.
The speaker itself is 30MM in diameter and has the pion part number of TS-07621ZH on it. The enclosure is 2-1/2" tall, the "box" is 2-1/4" tall the mounting plate has a 1/8" edge before the "box" starts, the top comes out at a ~134 degree angle (0/180 being the face of the speaker frame), the mounting depth is 5/8", depth of the frame is 5/64" and the speaker itself has a molding/covering that sticks out 5/32" inch.. speaker molding/covering/soft grill is 1.5" in diameter, mounting holes are on a 2.5" center to center 45 degree which was measure from horizontal, not the speaker enclosure.. shoulda done that differently.
Sorry for the numbers.. also I may have measure the entire width at 2-1/4 not 2-1/2, I can check if needed, need to get to work now tho

After 2 revisions the factory still can't seem to fit decent rear speakers. Many '06 owners are simply disconnecting the factory speakers and adding S-Pods with quality 5.25in components. www.streetsmarttechnologies.net

I know you make a good product, but your ads annoy the hell out of me.
Personally, I hate S-Pods, not because of the units themselves, but I HATE that much rear fill. I even run other cars without rear speakers at all but like a little in the S for top down cruising, I fade the hell out of it for long drives in the rain (top up).
Mark: No offense intended btw, but for those who just want to replace the rear OEM speakers in the OEM locations your post didn't help and was off topic. Mods can delete this post if they want.

I'm going to order up the grilles and see what I can come up with... I'm gonna have to find a local person with an 06 or 07 so I can mess with the fitment once I figure something out.

There are fasteners (#19) that secure each roll bar; four fasteners per leg for a total of 16 all together.
To remove the roll hoop, simply unbolt the fasteners.
