12V Power for Gauges
I'm trying to wire the light for my boost gauge to come on with the headlights. I've searched several times and all of the threads I've come across have dead links or missing pictures. I found the install instructions for MacGuyvers windscreen lights and I think I found where I can wire up the gauges but I wanted to check just to be safe.
The installation instructions contained the following picture:

Would I just wire the power for the gauge light into the top slot (labeled "E - Lights")?
I've also read up on the under dash fusebox on the driver's side and it appears that a "blue wire" runs the parking lights. (found here) Is this accurate? Would it be easier (or safer) to just go directly into the fusebox rather than the wire?
Thanks!

yes, that picture shows the extra accessory terminals in the fuse box, and
the one labeled "lights" is the one that is powered when the lights are on
(BATT = constant 12v and IGN is switched with the ignition switch/key).
This is the best way to hook up something rather than splicing into a different
wire. Probably best to use an inline fuse in the wire leading to your gauge
lights, assuming there isn't one there already.
