Default 15" Sub

Was up guys I'm trying to get some input on where to install a sub in the trunk. I have 2 MTX 15" subs that I'm dealing with. Well actually I'm only going to use one. I was wondering where would be a good location of this bigger than average sub. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you don't want to sell them and maybe get 10"s or 8"s? W Laurent's enclosures work great in the sides of the trunk. and you can have two 10s or two 8's and still keep the middle well.

I'm guessing that even if you use a sealed enclosure you'll need at least 1.5 cu/ft for a 15 inch sub.....probably closer to 1.75 cu/ft. You are never gonna get there with a tool well box which yields about 1 cu/ft.

You may be able to fashion a box that includes the tool well space and raises the entire floor of the trunk. John is right....you will use most of the trunk to pull it off.

Latest issue of Car Audio and Electronics has pictures of an S2000 drift car with gutted interior and a removable 15 inch sub and amp. Strange combo. In the pics you see a giant sub and amp surrounded by bare metal.
