2 Din Unit
Hello everyone.
Recently i did the whole cut the dash and put in a 2 din unit thing.... but ran into a few problems. The Dash Cutter's club thread is pretty silent so i hoped i could get some more info here.
1) I put the new Headunit in (pioneer 4100NEX), and used the Modify adapter harness for Pioneer units. I was unable to locate the "park brake wire" on the adapter. This lead to the head unit thinking my car is constantly moving, even with the park brake set; meaning i can't access some of the menu options as well as set up Android Auto or Apple Car Play.
2) How did you guys seal the redirected air vents? i seem to have trouble getting them to seal properly; the passenger size air vent is extremely weak to the point i thought i blocked it or something.
3) Maybe i did a crap job, at cutting the air vents, but i can't get the headunit to sit further into the dash, currently it sticks out 1/4 of an inch.
Thanks for the help guys!
