2001 Crossovers

Default 2001 Crossovers

I have a 2001 and infinity kappa perfects 6.1's my only issuse is were to mount the cross overs. i have my power wire going down the driver side and i am trying to avoid cossing except for when i have to do the door speaker. i was wondering were you guys put yours.

I put mine where most cars have a glove box. Not sure if it is a good place in terms of engine noise, but it seems to work for me. There is a panel on the passenger side that will come out if you pull it the right way (first time i tried, it cracked from pulling the wrong direction).

I used padded double sided tape. You probably won't need much of anything, they seem to stay put pretty well. I used the padded tape mostly to make sure they don't rattle.

Some people mount their crossovers in the doors also.

You can just mount them in the trunk. Easy to tune, easy to get to, easy to install.

dark has a point. I was kind of a pain to adjust my crossovers!
