The ring around the turn signal is not suppose to be lid, it's a reflector ring I believe
. The only rings that's suppose to light up would be the LED one on the stop lamp when you turn the lights on.

Can anyone post info on the wiring of the hardtopguy kit, or one with proper AP2 wiring. I have my lights, but I still need to piece together my wiring. I don't mind doing some extra work in order to make this work with proper sockets. Thanks in advance.

5? not 6? The harness I got with the lights have 6 and also have a 3 extra wires sticking out in the center, what are those for?
Also what's that wire at the lower right with the rubber loom. I will attempt this tomorrow and will probably figure it out but I though this could be helpful for anyone else wondering...

I got the HTG conversion kit and it was pretty simple to do. I recommend using a skil saw. don't use a dremel. I also did the 04 healights but was shipped one ballst. so i have one light in. now the tails are done but the the led around the brake light doesn't turn on. the reflector on the side of tail lights up. I unpluged the original side marker light. should I have? it's the very small light that goes in the reflector part of the AP1 tail. well any ways i'll keep you updated when i get my ballast and see if that fixes the parking lights.
first put them say putfile. then copy the URL or HTML and paste it to your post.
well an update from me. figured out why my parking lights weren't working, a simple fuse burned out. I'd deff recommend the HTG conversion kit. made it so much easier. deff looks hot. will have pics soon.
