Default 3rd brake light not working

Hey s2ki my third brake light isn't turning on I was wondering what could be wrong with it, it worked when I purchased the car recently a couple months ago and now nothing. Could this be just a fuse, wiring problem or maybe even the whole brake light itself? Please let me know what you guys think or things you guys have checked/ experienced. Thanks in advance

Check fuses to start. If that doesn't work, then you can pull the light assembly out and take a look at it.

I had the same issue. I check the fuses, connectors with a volt meter, etc. The problem is that the wire for the 3rd brake light is split. You are going to have to open the harness and trace the cable. Use the search function and there is a thread that explains everything.

maybe you just put something in your truck and hooked the connection on the truck lid
