Default 5.1 Digital system

There are several centre speakers available on the net but has anyone tried to build one in their S2000 ?

I'm considering the Alpine solution with their centre speaker.

For the centre speaker to fit, you would have to cut a piece out of the dash, which is no problem ofcourse. But it will have to fit.
Does anyone know if there is enough space ?

a friend fo mine had this on his Camaro SS. The center channel was actually in the hatch area, aimed at the glass so it reflected forward. Sounded OK. Nothing special.....Polk speakers.

I don't in the S but I know someone hear has it done... never heard it in person but I would think it would help the sound in a S2K vocally speaking.

However on a side note I will be putting one in my Discovery setup

In a Discovery you've also got a lot more room to play in. I don't even know if it will be a great difference over 4 channels + subs.
Right now i'm getting S-pods and installing 2 WLaurent sub enclosures.

Actually have just about no room in my Disco... I have a seven seater so I really don't have any room. I'm going to be mounting a lot of the map and nav unit on the back door under a fiberglass panel. I'll custom fab the cross-overs into the door panels. but I have no room in the way back other than the door, the rear seats fold up so I can't mount anything to those because we actually use them, and the front seats both have equipment under them I actually have more room to play with in the S
