Just installed my setup yesterday, Alpine 7998, 6.5 type r coaxials in the doors, MRV T-320 amp(V-12), & the Alpine 100S alarm for security. At first i thought the setup sounded kinda iffy but after playing around with the 7998 with owners manual in hand for a good hour this morning i believe that this is as good as gets with just replacement coaxials in the doors(these coaxials required cutting to fit, but well worth it), sounds great . Yesterday i drove with media expander off all day until i figured out this morning what it does, really cool feature, made a huge difference! Just wondering if any other owners of the 7998 have downloaded info from the i-personalize website & what they think with the results

 

I've downloaded the i-personalize from the website. I like the ability to customize the settings, and download it to the headunit. A real nice feature. However, I believe Lightning has had a problem with two units holding the i-personalize settings. I've been without my car for three weeks so I've not been able to check and see if I'm in the same boat.
