Default 8" enclosure

Can you cut the custom 8" sub enclosures from the S2Ki store to fit a 10" subwoofer?

Only if you can find a 10" that will work the amount of volume in the 8's enclosure.

Good point! I'll look into it.

It would be a tight squeeze but a Rockford Fosgate RFZ3410 will fit in a 0.375 cu. ft. enclosure. Still isn't good enough though.

I mounted a RFZ3410 into one of the boxes just to check it out. It still worked, just did not have very good low frequency response due to the lack of enclosure volume.

The RF HE2 and HX2 8" speakers sounded much better.

Plus the RFZ3410 is an entry level RF sub - akin to the JL 10W0.

The 8" HE2 and HX2 are capable of generating SPL on par with many 10" subs when attached to a properly sized amp.

Install a pair with the RFZ3408 (Punch Z) speakers - less than $400 if you are a site member - and I think you would be pretty amazed.
