I hardwired my radar detector directly to the fuse box but now I also want to install 2 accessory outlets under the dash in the same area since I want to install my XM Sportscaster and Garmin Nuvi 350.


How do I install the 2 cigarette lighter receptacles since my radar detector is occupying the the appropriate spot in the fuse box (ignition) ?

get a relay.... get 2 cig plugs... mount the plugs where you want... ground the one side , take the power side to the output of the relay , put the input of the relay to 12v constant , from your ignition harness would be ideal. one side of the switch of the relay to ground , then the other side to 12v turn on - otherwise known as ignition
