Default Where do you connect GROUND wire for Valentine 1 hardwire install?

So I read through the FAQ, searched the forums, and I can't seem to figure out where to connect the ground wire for the V1 hardwire install!? I a pretty big newbie when it comes to messing with the fusebox and stuff, so I guess this may be a very trivial question. Thanks for any help!

The ground wire is the easy one - find anyplace where there's a bolt with a bunch of black wires attached, and screwed into the sheetmetal. (I've seen quite a few of them just digging around). There are a couple of them near the furebox.

Although it is easy to find that bolt, it is a PITA to get it loose, get your wire in place and then tighten the bolt again.

I believe I used a 10mm head, I used an extender and just loosened the bolt, then stuck my wire around the bolt and tightened the bolt back on. It was a contortionist move to get in there for me.

I had someone walking me through the install which made it less nerve racking as well.

Good luck.

If your Valentine ground wire is anything like mine, you'll find that the spade terminal is a bit too small to fit around the grounding bolt on the car. I installed a set of these during my install & things fit perfectly...

Similar to the ones in the FAQ, but these were actually a better fit for the Valentine wires.

Hope this helps!

Globetro...I just realized you were a So.Bay local. Orchard Supply Hardware carries these particular terminals.
