Default Accessing the audio controls...?

I am going to attempt to move my AEM UEGO gauge that I had installed in place of the "MODE" button on the audio control panel...

Reason is, I didn't realise that I would lose functionality of my modifry controller...

Anyways, I'm going to move it into an autometer single A-pillar pod, and wanted to know what I was getting myself into...

Thanks in advance,
Matt

I take it you didn't put it in. If you did, you would know how to take it out. You have to pull the instrument cluster. This involves lowering the steering column a bit. Once you pull the cluster, you can access the screws for that module from the side.

No, I had the shop that installed my Comptech S/C do it...

They had to disassemble the circuit board behind the panel to make it fit, but I have all the old pieces... I'm hoping to get the functionality back?

Only if they didn't damage it when taking it out.

hopefully they didnt' de-solder/break anything. If they did... worst case scenario you may have to buy a new audio control panel.
