Just got done installing my Alpine 9887 with the Modifry harness. My question is, how do I change the SCV levels? When pressing Mode + CH, there is no indicator on the Alpine head unit reflecting the new setting. How do I know what level my SCV is currently set at? Do I have to test it myself by driving 15 MPH and seeing how far the volume will go?

 

There are detailed instructions on adjusting the speed sensitive volume that come with the modifry DCI. I know; I just did an install for another member. I don't still have those instructions but they might be available on his site.

 

Back from the dead here...but anyone knows the answer to OP's question? Just installed the SCV and I have no idea which is the current SCV level when toggling between the two levels...

 

I've just been testing it myself to know which SCV setting I'm at. I've gotten into the habit of always changing my SCV setting every time top goes up or down so I don't get confused.
