Default aem ecu

i have done some searching and cant seem to find anything so hopin you guys can help im thinking about getting an aem ecu for my ap1 im just curious does it do away with the immobiliser that is programmed into you key?im usin the car for time attack so dont need a key was just going to have the igniton on a switch thanks in advanced

the factory immobilizer is tied in between the key and the factory ECU so since going aem gets rid of the factory ecu you lose the immobilizer completely so you'll be all set for what you're doing.
