Aftermarket Head Unit Install Question
This may be a pretty noob question, but I'm picking up my new S2K tomorrow morning, and I wanted to install my Alpine headunit I've had in my previous car into the new one. It's an Alpine CDA 7878, and it already has a wiring harness hooked up to it. My previous car is a 2000 Accord Coupe, and when I looked up wiring harnesses for the S2K, it seems like it uses the same exact one that the Accord uses. So in essence, I should just be able to just remove the stock one in the S, and then plug the harness right up and it should work right out the box, right?
The more I think about it, the stupider it sounds, but I'm just being cautious with my new love (the S).
Thanks in advance guys. I can't wait till tomm!

The s2000 uses the blue honda harness. If your accord had that same harness your good to go. Plug and play baby! Just be sure your blue wire (power antenna wire) is connected. It powers the S2000's internal FM amp.
Thanks guys, I went ahead and plugged it in when I picked up my S2k and it worked just fine for the drive down. But now, the unit keeps resetting itself during driving. The music will cut in and out and you can see the faceplate turns off and then flickers back on and off and on and off. Sometimes it will remain powered, sometimes it will just turn off and keep flickering on and off.
Any ideas as to what this could be? Its frikkin annoying, and I'd rather not buy a new headunit if I don't have to. Again, thanks in advance.
