Thumbs up Aftermarket HU

Hi guys, I just got my 02 Sk2. I have a single DIN JVC headunit I want to put in it. The directions on Lucid to remove the stock HU are not working (website is out of order or something). What do I need to do to remove the stock headunit and install my aftermarket headunit? I know I need a Honda compatible harness to hook up to the JVC harness... That's all I know
Thanks in advance!

Just pry off the one piece plastic that surrounds the radio...it is held in by some clips. Once that comes off, there are four screws on the corners that hold the stock HU in place, unscrew those...hook up your harness and put in your aftermarket...hope that helps. You might also want to consider Modifry's DCI unit if you want to be able to use the dash controls that is on the left with an aftermarket unit.

also your going to take the brackets off of the factory radio and bolt them onto your JVC radio. you'll see what I mean when you take everything out. Also check out the PAC peice for controlling your dash stuff. you can make whatever button controll whatever function you want , unlike modifry

instead of the PAC you may want to check Modifry's IR DCI. Thats what i use and its works superbly
