Absolutely. Some audio installers should have a module they can hook up to the headunit in stock, or you should check out www.modifry.com

Yes but you'll need a DCI. I'd also suggest Modifry's.

Modifry can even supply a plug and play harness if you want. I love his DCI product, and the variable speed volume option that it offers really fits well with our cars, a definite upgrade.

Based on what I've read, the Modifry wired DCI is the way to go, and I wanna get one too!

But I have a question about the plug and play harness.....
If the Prev Owner already (Professionally) installed a Kenwood HU, and now I want to add a wired DCI to enable the dash controls, is the Modifry PNP harness of any benefit now, or is it too late to benefit from it? Anyone know?

It should be of benefit as long as the person who installed it didn't clip the connector on the S harness and solder directly to the wiring. Probably unlikely but you just never know until you take a look. "Professionally" really doesn't mean anything. There are pros that do things the right way and pros that do things the wrong way.

If that's not the case then you'd just pull the harness that was used and replace it with the Modifry harness (connected to the DCI).

I'm willing to bet they cut the original harness and the clip is missing, in that case the plug and play harness will not work, so just go with the DCI.
