Default Air holes under top?

ive noticed that recently my car has been rattling from behind the seats when my sub is hitting hard, and was wondering if there was anything that could be done?

If i hold down the plastic under the window the rattling stops so it feels like its just a lot of air pressure and thats the weakest links. i think ive read before that someone cut some of that plastic out to help hear his sub better but i cant find the post again.

what ya guys think? cutting out a square or a few holes back there a good/bad idea? if thats not a good solution to the problem is there anything else that can be done?

thanks in advance

I saw a post where someone just put a match in some gap near the hidden compartment to keep his tray from rattiling.

I cut a hole in my rear tray, where the top rests. A match between the gaps also helps. I do not rattle

it also enables my amps to cool themselves by forcing hot air up and out.

i used a dremel from inside the car with the top up... very difficult for me to do. I'd take the seats out to give yourself more room and try a small tooth hole saw on power drill.

i cut 10 holes in my tray this weekend when i had the tray out for a fuel pump change... i use muz's soft top mat so you can't even see the holes, but it makes a world of a difference!
