Default Alarm going crazy after flat battery (noob mistakes)

Hello all, first post, recently acquired a 2005 S2000. I was waiting for this sunny weekend to snap up pictures and post a fancy intro, but unfortunately it's this

Yesterday after work, I found myself with a flat battery (I left the side lights on all day... doh!). A colleague managed to get a battery booster thing to get it started which worked but the alarm was going crazy. Fair enough I thought it might just be due to low battery because the alarm stopped after about 10 minutes of driving.

I drove home, but after about 20 seconds of switching my car off, my alarm started going off again. This kept happening for as long as the car was off. Pressing the keyfob doesn't stop the alarm. The little light on the fob flashes when I press a button so the fob's fine. At the moment, I've disconnected the battery to stop the alarm.

How do I make it stop?

I rang Honda and they quoted upwards of £75 just for a diagnosis!

Any help would be appreciated!

Try driving the car for an hour or so with lights and AC off to let the alternator charge the battery or use a battery charger.

Once the battery is fully charged, it should be fine.
