OK, i'll do the best to explain the problem. When I bought my S it came with a Clifford 2.5 RS Paging 2 Way Alarm. It has served me well since I have owned the car until it started getting warmer out. Now the remote it appears is not working, If i hit it or tap it on something it will start working, its a very tempermental thing. It works when it wants to, it started just being the unlock button that wouldnt work, now its the lock and unlock buttons, the trunk release still works but its a little slow to react when pushing the button, I put a new battery in it, dismantled the remote and cleaned under the plastic buttons (thought there might have been interference with the circuts underneith). But to no avail its back to its normal ways, I was thinking mostly the remote but could it also be the receiver in the car? Also where could I get a replacement remote for the system? There are no local dealers in my area so I canno't order it directly from clifford. Any help would be appreciated.
