Default Alpine 9855 HELP!

Guys,

I bought this unit about a year ago, finally had chance to install it tonight. The thing is the faceplate won't lift up enough for me to put a CD in. Seems like it's stuck. I did put in a CD without the faceplate hoping that somehow I can eject it, but no luck. What can I do? Can't bring it back to where I bought it since it's been too long. Also, anyone happen to have the Instruction booklet they can give me a copy?

Thanks,
John

not quite sure whats going on with your deck with the description..but...supposedly the earlier production 9855/9853 had faceplate problems....like the cd would get stuck into the deck or something with the motor for the faceplate...i think it was around mid 2005 when they released like a "newer" version of the 9855/9853 with all the problems fixed.
