Some months ago I posted on the forum that Alpine had an S2000 specific adapter to enable the in-dash buttons with Alpine headunits.

I have finally seen it installed. So if you are looking for a new headunit solution check up with your alpine dealer. The cables and adapters are kwe-892 and kce-870b.

**** ooops. These code references are wrong! The right code is KCE-865B. Please check http://www.alpine-europe.com/2001/audio/da...dio_steer01.htm for more information.

Well, my dealer in Massachusetts could not locate them because they were an European item. I have since purchased Pinky's Mod.

But other S2k owners might be interested in how we could get them over the other side of the world.

But then again my dealer might be an idiot.

Luis, are you intersted in becoming a dealer for this item? Contact myself you want a US contact. I was looking for this item for quite a long time. But could not find it at the right places here.

It may have just become available... but re-read the 1st post as I have just made a correction. I would re-check with the Alpine rep. After all this is a japanese company, and I sincerely doubt they would market the adapter only in Europe, especially for a Japanese car!
