just run this into 8 ohms (bridged) (would this give me 300w to the sub?)<how would this last option sound?

can somebody tell me if im right or not ? thanks
Sure you can....it is a super easy solution, just hook up on VC and see how it sounds....if at that point it is not working for you change drivers. It will be in spec with the amp and no additional purchases.

I had 2 10s (dvc 4ohm) in a bandpass box 10 years ago and used only one VC on each driver....I never had any problems.

Check one more thing....double check the polarity now that you switched the wiring around, also, try reversing the polarity and see if that helps. It may be out of phase.

did you only hook up one voice coil, or did you do what dcon67
suggested - one VC to each rear channel (not bridged)?
I know zero about this, but Crutchfield thinks it's a viable option:

It's an option, but with that amp, un-bridged channels 3/4 only output 75w each for a total of 150w. Bridged, it's rated at 300w just for the two rear channels. That's what he's after.
