I had to ditch the door and the vents. This is of course the rough cut idea that is installed now. Last night I looked at the options of finishing it off for a more smooth finish. but i epreciate the compliments. S2k owners going on the Mohawk trail ride this Saturday will see it in person and then I will have a good idea on initial reactions. Took forever to come up with a plan that worked though. lol

 

My bad. It seems relatively stealth to me because its in the OEM HU location. Since I put my unit in the dash it's not as well concealed (comparatively speaking).

Why didn't you hide it behind the stock stereo door? Did the deck not fit? I would love to get a dvd/nav deck into the stock location and leave it completely stock looking...away from thieving eyes.

 

Yeah me too. But.. It wouldnt fit behind the door and also the shifter and dash above the door are not conducive of this type of install.
