Default Alpine iDA-x001 wallpapers...

Have any of you used the XPNconverter program to create your own wallpapers by chance?

Here are just a couple I have made using MSPaint and then using IrfanView to turn into a RAW image and then into the APN file...

If anyone is by chance interested in the .APN file just let me know and I can send it your way. Also if you have created some, please show the image you have and share with others if they are interested.

What you need to do is create a folder on your root of C, I created one called Alpine, you have to extract the exe and dll file into that folder you create. Once you create your RAW file (has to be a 320x240 pixel size) save it also inside the folder you created. Get to a command prompt (I'll assume you know how to) and at the prompt change the directory to the folder you created (cd C:\Alpine) and now at the prompt type in xndconverter.exe filename.raw and hit enter. The filename is whatever you saved it as previously. You should see it do something if all is correct and it will create the APN file into the folder you created. Now take this file and stick it on a USB drive (make sure it is formatted in FAT, anything else and it will not pick it up). Plug in your USB drive go to the menu for display and upload your file. Unfortunately the unit doesn't have the ability to keep a multitude of your files all at once. Gambatte (good luck).
