You'll need a 4-chan amp to do that. And a lot of people like the Alpine SPR components...

I don't understand? From what he recommended you, it was well under your budget. 800<1500? I think you are stuck with your best buy purchase since they won't return your money hence the recommendation. Trust me, when you see cost on some of the items. It is a 200 percent markup. Not to mention, if you work there doing some of the accomodation programs for a deeper discount. I tried to piece something together for you but I can't see paying more for an inferior product. The headunit, amp, and components I priced out on bestbuy.com came out to 1000 versus NS setup which would sound better.

I understand you have the money at Best Buy already. OK. So stick yourself to the best Premier HU they have. Alpine SPR speakers. Alpine 4-chan MRP amp.

Take the rest of whatever you paid and put it towards a gift card, or movies, or CDs or whatever.

I have the x100 and I have the static problem with radio stations as well. Unfortunately, its a common problem for people who have the head unit.

From what I've researched theres no fix... just dont listen to the radio station.

 

Lol, that is exactly what I priced together which was around the 1k mark.

 

They probably won't let you return the whole system since its been installed already. What they can do is probably refund your cost on the head unit or give you store credit. Like NS stated, what's done is done. Just try to make the best out of the situation now.
