That's like growing up...my mother used to LOVE the sale rack. Well, that stuff was there for a reason. And she'd say "But, John (cuz that's my name), this stuff is HALF off. It's only $10 instead of $20." And I'd say "ahh, but, mom (cuz that's what I called her), I won't wear any of it. So you could save 100% on it and not throw money into something I won't wear."

 

give me a system that has good bass. honestly i want to be bumpin. possibly heard from a block away, but also want the SQ there as well what you recommended me doesnt quite seem what i would be looking for. i would want more bass in the sub

 

and what do you think about kappas?

 

I work at best buy as an installer, and I would never subject my door to installing the kappa components. THAT TWEETER IS HUGE AND UGLY. The kappa perfects on the other hand have a much smaller tweeter as far as size. I have no idea why the kappa tweeter is so huge and ugly. I dunno about the how the perfects sound however.

 

oh and if your friend works at best buy, tell him to look at the infinity accomodation. He/she should know where to find that.

 

Your half off is nothing. The markup is crazy on car audio especially bestbuy. Don't quote me on this but my friend told me something like 200 percent?

crap i still dont know what i should do. im not looking for a crazy SQ competition system and thats what NS seems to be recommending me. i just want a good system and be bumpin. right now i want to replace my HU and speakers. should i go with a pioneer premier and kappas? even tho you may think best buy offers crap quality... its probably gonna be from there. so recommendations from best buy please..... before 11

 

Go with Pioneer Premier and a decent set of components. Really, I'd get something else from Best Buy instead of the components...but I understand.

 

what are some good components to match the alpine type r? also should i just get a 2 channel amp for the speakers and sub instead of a 1000w mono amp for only the sub?

also.. the best buy audio guys said they dont advise getting a 2 channel amp to power the speakers and sub?? true?
