sorry to rise up an old thread but ,

as area selection, which position do you select? front or front-left?

i am unable to find any info about application of IMPRINT to a roadster car. is there anything to be done since S has neither rear seats nor rear speakers? i do not see any choice for disabling rear seats/rear speakers in IMPRINT Sound Manager...

We have right hand drive cars, so I select Front Right (IIRC) so you want Front Left.

Are you using the 9887 Imprint KTX-100EQ or the external unit PXA-H100?

With the KTX-100EQ, it automatically works out you have no rear speakers and adjusts accordingly.

yes, here we have lefthand drive cars.
i'm using iDA-X305S as the headunit and KTX-H100 calibration kit.
by the way; your latest calibration curve is extremely flat. what do you use as component speaker kit?
thx for the response!

Sorry to bump this super old thread...

Just to let people know, the latest software for the 9887 has a roadster/convertable option for measurements. You can download it from their website.

The Alpine Imprint software used the Audyssey MultiEQxt software. It's a critically acclaimed award winning software/hardware system for home use. It is absolutley astonishing what it does for home systems. I've just bought a used 9887 with Imprint hardware/software and cant wait to put it in my car.

Anybody with a used 9887 they want to get rid of? I think I may want to put a unit in my other car as well.
