alpine installation questions
12vDC memory should be the 12v lead that is "always on" (that is, not switched off when the ignition is). This keeps constant power to the unit to allow it to save things like presets.
ATT, short for "attenuate" is not quite an interrupt, as it technically reduces the volume by a great deal, not quite "interrupting" it completely, but yes, it should be the same, or similar, for whatever purposes you need.
(so, in short, 12v memory is the non-switched 12v lead and, yes, audio interrupt and ATT are the same thing)

you cant tie the mute fro8m the car directly to the radio. the car is 12v on mute and the radio input is a ground. you'll have to use a relay.
put the car lead on 85, the 86 post to ground as well as 87. 30 to the radio input.

Thanks for chiming in, Modifry. I apologize for steering the original post in a somewhat wrong direction.
Does that ATT = pause go for all the alpine models? I've never had an alpine myself, but a lot of my buddies (which means I have to install them) do, just curious.
Thanks
