Yeah can't tell you what's going to happen to it when you autocross it but it probably will move. When you sit in the passenger seat you will not see the wiring. I hunched down to take the pic. The picture doesn't show it clearly but you'll see a hump on the floor mat but my passengers didn't notice it there unless I told them.

Thanks for posting the pics. I think I'm going to try to find a mounting location under the driver-side dash area, using heavy duty zip ties.

Beautiful car BTW, love that color with the wheels.

Thanks skibbz I appreciate it. =)

2big4aS2000, I tried but I have these pockets. I couldn't close it all the way when I stuffed it in the dash. I'll look online for 05 and older model to see if I can pick up a flat one.

Yup, same here, I need to find a place to securely / permanently mount mine soon... It's pretty tight in a 2008.

I mounted my KTP-445 behind the driver-side lower dash, there are a couple pockets up there that fit the amp and all the wiring after I used an extensive amount of zip ties to hold it in place. I also put some pieces of felt that had a sticky back on the amp around all sides to prevent it from clanking around against the metal. I covered all wires in wire loom as well, for a cleaner installation. It seems fine and secure, which was a concern for AutoX. My only complaint is that I have alternator whine but I think that might be caused by my using the factory ground location above the fuse box in the driver side kick panel. I might try routing a ground cable back to my battery to fix this... We'll see.

Thanks for all the help, guys!

Would you happen to have pics of where you mounted it?

I also mounted mine underneath the driver side panel. There is a curved metal pocket to the left and right of the steering column. I slid the KTP-445 into the pocket on the left and secured it with zip ties.
