Late answer, but technically yes it is bridgeable and 2 ohm stable, but not suggested by Alpine.
Does anyone have any additional mounting suggestions on an AP2 (2008) that haven't been mentioned?
Thanks
Installed this with a alpine cde-123 head unit if I remember correctly. Also installed Polk db651 coaxial speakers. Sounds pretty good for what it is. Turn it up past like 21 and the distorsion comes in like you flipped a switch. Changing the gaim from high to low doesn't seem to help. Neither does turning off the loud function on the head unit. Its loud at that volume but I want to hear the music loud with the top down at 70mph or more.
I also tried bridging it best I know how using a guide on ehow.com and get no sound at all. If anyone can offer bridging help it would be great. I think I need the extra power to prevent the distortion at higher volume since my speakers are under powered in this setup.

I placed mine under the passenger floor mat as far up as possible. I almost had it inside the dash but couldn't close it all the way.

Did you mount it to the floor or is it just loose under the mat?
