Just ordered a stereo that came with this. Has anyone used it and is it actually worth it in our cars? Any input would be awesome.

 

I have it for my ida-x100. Its deinfately worth it for this headunit, as without it you have very minimal audio settings.

With the imprint kit, you can adjust EVERYTHING; including balance, timing, 5 band para eq or 7 band graphic, xover points and more.

It's definately nice to have if you know what you're doing.

 

have you tried the auto eq feature using the microphone? if so, how did it seem to work?

 

not yet. I haven't installed my sub yet, so i'm holding out until i do.

The multi enhancer effect or whatever its called that's built in to the imprint thing has definately made my speakers sound clearer though.

That's what I've been runnign so far until i instal my sub and find a laptop to do the microphone settings with
