Well, here I mounted it outside for the theif to see arming status but the rain shorted it out:
Then I tried the rear view mirror... but talk about a blind spot:
Here's my steering wheel install... but each time you turn the wheel the cable gets all tangled up:
And my instrument cluster install... the problem here is not knowing how fast you're going:
And lastly my e-brake install... the problem here is just plain 'ol ergonomics:
Enjoy...

I hope you'all don't think I'm serious... I have a very weird sense of humor.
I own an extra SEC-8069 but actually use SEC-8081 alarms in both my S2000 and Focus...
I actually love the stereo door install the best...
Or the change slot install... Here's a picture there (but you would need to make a panel for it to fit into for the finished look):
Or even flush-mounting it into the cup-holder cover...

By looking at my LCD install, I don't believe it would be that hard to mount it there. I guess the challenge would be to center it correctly! I think the stereo cover can just be pulled off and away so you can work on it at a bench or something.
BTW shaner, I thought it was funny!
BigRedDog, Mobile Fantasy sold it to me for $600 installed. After the installation though, the installer said he undercharged me.

It really belittles the amateur hobbyist who spends weeks and months hand-crafting a system with his/her own hands when another person (who wrote a check) speaks as if he/she did the work, cut the hole, etc...

Cant we all get along?
I didnt mean any disrespect Shaner! I admire your skills just as much as I admire the skills of my installer I wrote the check to!
Trust me I know my limitations! Thats why I seek out professional help!
