Anyone have any expirience (good or bad) with the new version Type-X subs or the small form factor PDX series amps?

 

i know the pdx series amps are AWESOME. It almost seems like those amps were made for the x series for alpine because all of the rms ratings match up with the amps for the subs and speakers.

I have a 12 inch type x and it pounds. I dont know how it would compare to a JL W7 though, but for alpines compeition series its LOUD.

I have a pair of type x speakers coming my way to put in the doors and hopefully i can get a pair of type x speakers to fit in the s-pods i dotn know yet.

 

Oh cool! Did you get the type-x or the type-x pro?

P.S. did you see Tool last night?

 

i have the orginal type-x 12" sub and i like it, doesn't compare to a w7 though, thats for sure

i'm looking at the jbl w12gti as new sub for my car

 

Ahhh How is the sound quality? Right now Im realizing pretty much my entire A/V system is from Alpine so maybe I should just go with them for the sub/amp and swap out my avi components for the type-x pros.

 

i have the original type-x sub. Its great and as far as the speaker sound quality, i dont know yet because i dont have them hooked up!
