Alpine: When do the new models get released?

Hey all, I'm planning on purchasing an Alpine head unit and MP3 changer and I am just wondering if there is a specific time in the year where they announce their new models so that I can decide whether to wait or not.

This year it was April. So Buy now. It is a long wait.

I installed the CDA-7984 and I love it.

April sounds right. That's when my friend got his 7525 back in March/April 1993. Thanks for the info.
