I have been looking on Crutchfield's site for a replacement radio that has Sirius XM built in. Every radio I look at warns me that the radio cover in the S2000 "may not close." How does a person know for sure? Do I have to call them to see if a specific model will work? I absolutely want to be able to close that cover because it makes a perfect spot for my phone to lean as a GPS.

I am most interested in this model so far but I would really like to know if the radio cover will close.

Just installed the Alpine CDE-HD149BT and there were no issues in fitment.

 

Did you have to get the Metra ASWC-1 steering wheel control unit to be able to use the volume button on the driver's side?
